2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Questions & Answers
Overheating grande vitara 2008
I shouldn't be blocked because it is pretty new. The systems are usually good for 10 yrs or so before they start getting gunked up. I would think it is either the electric fan or the fan clutch (whichever you have) could be out and it isn't cooling the engine. Also, you could have air in the system which could cause the rest of the coolant to not circulate. Check for an air bleeder valve near the top of the engine, usually near the thermostat housing.

Replacing Starter 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara v6
I changed the starter. Remove engine cover and air intake. Disconnect battery. Remove front passenger tire. Put car on stands. Place small block of wood on jack and jack up onto the oil pan with slight pressure (not too much, just enough to hold in place.) Remove one belt from alternator by loosening left bolt on pulley and adjusting the tension on the other bolt of same pulley. Leave the other belt alone. Take out top bolt of alternator, loosen but do not remove bottom(this will allow you to lower or swing the alternator out of the way without removing. Undo wiring. Remove ground wire from starter. Take out motor mount (4 bolts). There are two Phillips screws holding a heat shield (square piece of metal) onto the starter. They have to be taken out or the starter won't be able come out (I replaced these screws with hex head bolts from Advanced Auto Parts for easier removal in the future. I'm sure they are at every hardware store). Slide the starter towards the front of the car. Remove terminal wiring and the starter is now out. The tools that I found useful were a ratchet with a flat head, metric sockets (8mm-13mm) and a swivel bit for the ratchet, an extra set of hands and 8 hours as I do not work on cars. The time consumption was greater than the difficulty. Once you understand heat shield has to come off and how it has to be done its not bad. You may have to softly bend some of the fuel line but only to fit the ratchet in from the bottom. You will have to do some work from the top and some work from the bottom.
2008 grand vitara had radoator hose collapsed
Hoses collapsed when water could not be drawn back into cooling system from over flow tank. There has to be an obstruction preventing water to flow back into radiator when car cools down.

but post country and engine, not all suz. use same engine, nor efi nor vacuum parts, hint each country has its own smog laws. so not posting the country makes all my answers just pure wild guessing.
