This does not make any since. You come to a stop, then it will not go forward until you hit the brakes, then it will go? When you changed the filter did you set the emergency brake? Sounds like you may have brakes that are sticking when you come to a stop.

No the computer doesn't need to be reset . Your saying the starter does not spin the engine over , or not fast enough ? Testing the starter electrical circuit would be the proper first step . Without testing your guess is as good anyones on here . New radio - new amp ? Factory or aftermarket ? Is there B+ voltage to the radio , and does it have good ground .

I would have the steering angle sensor checked. When they go bad, They can reduce speed by apply brakes. If you have had an alignment recently, they should have reset the steering angle. Also have them check the ABS module plug for corrosion.

The best source of this info is from a parts technician at a GM dealer.
