check fluid level and condition if good and clean, check for lock up solenoid problem

check your fuses also youll be suprised. The alternator runs down the battery if its bad or it could be the starter and ect. A multimeter would be something you could use also to check battery and the wires.

There should be a fuelpump test port on the fuelrail. This will tell you if the system has pressure for the initial start or not.

fuses control each side of car so two feeds to rear lights if power lost in both rear lights and front side lights work then its a connection multiblock somewhere but never seen this vehicle in spain so i couldnt tell you where to look only a mechanics logical diagnostics,sorry about this

Check fuses before taking anything apart.

Check and / or replace plugs, wires, distributor cap, coil / coilpack

Change plugs especially if you have over 50k miles on them.
Wires can sometimes have cracks in them causing misfire.

Try removing the plastic inner wing panel. It is held on with plastic two-piece plugs which can be removed by using a flat blade screwdriver to remove the centre part of the plug. No all the plugs need to be removed as the panel will bend to give you access. If you see another panel behind this panel, don't panic, simply reach behind and up to access the park light and indicator light bulb holders. They twist anticlockwise to remove them. If need be, someone with a torch can guide you to the bulb holder by looking from above.

Hi, please first open your hood and check if there's any type of fire or smoke coming out from the area close to where you heard the sound.
