check for more fuses under the hood

Hi, we have the same problem. Replaced the battery a month ago and it died yesterday again. The car is at the dealer now. They are trying to blame us for the problem. I have a feeling they know exactly whats wrong, but they are not willing to tell us, since its still under warrenty for 1 month. Suggestions are; - the radio might drain your battery, even when its off. - do you have a homelink? If so, it might be wired the wrong way. so far thats all i found out by surfing the web.

try spare key. if you dont have one or the immo does not recognize it then get a proper scan tool to see the fault codes

its called adaptation. it happens when you remove the battery. you need approx 7 drive cycles for everything to smothen out. drive it for about 1 week and it might correct itself. with regard to the check engine light you might have forgotten to plug a wire to a sensor.

Check your tire pressure. Some tire places will just put 35 PSI in and not check what is called for by the cars manufacturer. There should be a sticker on the drivers door or door jamb. Sometimes it maybe on the drivers side rear door or jamb. It will also be listed in the owners manual. Also check that you have the correct size tires on the car. Side wall height can have a significant effect on handling, and ride.

Is it just possible you put the disc in backwards? It has happened to me before, and this makes it lock up.

After a relearn drive cycle the idling should return to normal. How much have you driven it since the battery replacement ?

make sure heat sheilds over exhuast aren't loose

go to auto parts store and they can tell u the gap setting. some cars list it under the hood on a sticker that tells this infromation

Go to any spark plug manufacture site & look up the plug number-the gap is shown You should have gotten a service guide (not work shop manual) when you bought it,will be in there also It used to be under the hood on the Emission Label, but I have a 2014 veh & it is no longer there

on face of radio should be a small hole, insert paper clip in hole to reset

HI,Look in the Owner's Manual for information on what is required if your car's battery is replaced - Yours wasn't replaced by did lose power. Likely a code needs entered - into the radio- to fix the issue.GL,Td
