Hi there the fuse box is in the engine hood next to the battery

It is located just behind the rear axle near the fuel tank. It is clipped onto a black box approx 10x7x3 inches it is known as a charcoal canister. Pretty easy to get to, at least you don't need to drop the tank for this one =)

Although I have never removed a heater core on that specific vehicle yet, I can give you some information that is common to most removal procedures. The first thing that I usually do is to obtain the new part and check it for damage. If it is made of brass (most of them are) then check for cracks where the inlet and outlet tubes are brazed to the core. If this checks out OK then, begin by draining the cooling system.(there is an alternative method to draining the system, see below)Locate the heater hoses and trace them back to the firewall. remove the hoses from the core once the coolant has been drained. If the hoses are going to be replaced then, remove the clamp and slice the top of the hose down the middle with a razor blade and peel the hoses off. If they are going to be reused then, use a small screw driver or hook tool to loosen the hose from the tube and carefully work the end of the hose back and forth until it comes off. Removing the core itself is next up.Removal tips :find the location of the core inside the passenger compartment.(removal of lower trim panel may be required) The core is usually inside what I call a "heater box". If it is then, the box must be removed.Installation tips :Once you have the old part removed then, compare it to the new one to make sure they are the same. Be very careful with the inlet and outlet tubes when installing them into position as they can be easily damaged. Some heater cores are attached to the evaporator core with tie straps. These straps MUST be replaced when installing the new core. System refill :The system must be completely full of coolant and all the air removed in order to work properly. Some engines have air bleeds installed on the engine that must be opened with the engine running and then closed once coolant is coming out. Drive the vehicle with the heater on high until warm air is noticed. Recheck coolant level after vehicle has sat overnight. Check for leaks.Alternative procedure :Instead of draining the coolant, use "pinch off" pliers on the hoses. The pliers allow the system to remain full while the work is being done. Although this procedure saves time, it can only be used if the hoses are being reused. Thanks for trying fixya.

Probablt just wiggled loose and then maybe when it did it trashed the wire as well. I had that happen to me once. Next time torque down the plugs and if you have aluminum heads use a good anti seize compound. I've even heard the liquid calcium based stomache items like Milk of Magnesium will work great as an antiseize compound as calcium does not react with thing at high temps.

There is a trick to getting the spark plug wire back together right. The heavy gauge wire goes around the plug. THAT boot needs to be pulled back half a foot or so then you can take the heavy gauge wire and one side is a sharpened poking end that pierces into the sp wire itself. Then pull the boot down back over it... that is ALL that keeps that connection together, That's why manuals are so fussy about how they are removed and reccommend a tool for doing this.

Try a little graphite to the lock cylinder. Also make sure that the steering wheel does not have pressure on the lock plate . Some times the car wheels can in a position causing the steering wheel to put pressure on the lock assembly not letting it to turn.
