RSC ABS Light on

I would try unplugging the connector to the ABS ModuleYou will have dash lights on, but can use the truck, the brakeswill work, you just won't have ABSThen plug it back inIf you still have a MIL lampYou go to a shop, different one & not a dealer,& ask them to scan for codes in Enhanced Mode & just look at the ABS System Codes/FaultsThen Google the issue, or look at the shops data base, forthe proper way to diagnose. To say entire system-- is just you not knowing what is goingon, or what your told, need to be more involved & ask more questions & get people to show you & prove to you,how they come to any conclusion or fix.I found the B1342 code is used for different systems, which is odd, & different vehicles,so be careful your lookingat the correct vehicle, application etc on the internetAt a shop with the scan tool your looking into the vehiclessystem & can't get that wrongJust know that codes do not mean a part failedComponent testing for failure is requiredAt very least do voltage drops on power & groundside of any module, using a wiring diagram, beforethrowing electronic parts at something & get it wrong

Is there an intermitten wiper controller on this vehicle?

The wipers are directly controlled by the wiper switch. If you are confident the switch is good and you have checked the wiring to the motor and it is good than the wiper motor/module has failed. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

2008 ford explorer light control module

Hi Rich , what lights are you talking about ? Exterior Lighting , Interior Lighting ? It doesn't matter All lights are controlled by SJB smart junction box ! An you can't just stick in a used one , It will need to be programmed ! Interior Lighting The interior lighting system consists of the following components:
  • Smart junction box (SJB)
  • Dimmer control switch
  • Interior/map lamps
  • Cargo lamp
  • Glove compartment lamp
  • Vanity mirror lamps
  • Door ajar switches
  • Puddle lamps
The interior lighting system consists of 2 subsystems:
  • Courtesy lamps
  • Demand lamps
The courtesy lamps are controlled by the SJB. The courtesy lamp subsystem consists of the interior dome lamps, the puddle lamps and the overhead console lamps (if equipped). The SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps when the SJB receives the required input. The demand lamps are controlled by the SJB. The demand lamps subsystem consists of the glove compartment lamp, all map/reading lamps, and the left and right vanity mirror lamps. The SJB supplies power to the interior lighting system. The SJB will set DTCs if certain circuit failures exist with the interior lighting system. Exterior Lighting Headlamps The headlamp system is a dual-beam pattern system. It consists of a low and high beam, with a replaceable bulb. The headlamp assembly has the park/turn indicator lamp integrated into the headlamp assembly. The smart junction box (SJB) supplies voltage to the headlamps when demanded. Principles of Operation The SJB receives inputs and delivers outputs to a majority of the electronically-controlled features of the vehicle. The SJB constantly monitors the systems under its control and reports a concern in the form of a DTC. The DTC can be retrieved with a scan tool through the medium speed controller area network (CAN) communication network. NOTE: Prior to the removal of the SJB, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information must be downloaded to the new SJB after installation. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 .

My 2008 Ford Explorer V6 XLT, was making some shifting sound from the front suspension area when I apply the brakes, and was driving back to my station where I can have it checked, when suddenly stopp

You can not be told anything--common sense The vehicle has to be checked for OBD Codes & then diagnose the systems that set the codes & component test-- to find a problem There is no way to quote any price on the unknown You better be careful & make a couple trips to the shop, your having it go to,& see for yourself, what was tested & how Need to get into the service bay & be shown every step & ever test & the results, BEFORE you authorize anything, but diagnostic time Anything not being explained, as you ask for it You get it out & off to another shop MUST find a problem & proof it exists, BEFORE any repairs or money is spent Before you take the fixed vehicle home or pay for it You go for a 25 miles trip, with the person that worked on it, & have a scan tool along to see the data

Rear seatbelt stuck behind head rest in locked position

haha we know you didnt do it on purpose, without seeing your problem and the hard to describe issue, i can only recommend to maybe try folding the seat to the cargo position, if that helps. if not, then you will more than likely need to disassemble the rear quarter panel, and unbolt the seat belt retractor from the body of the vehicle. sorry but there is no other way
