2006 Kia Sportage driver door problem.
Question edited for clarity and toss in some CAPS.
Question moved to model category.
The most likely reason for this is not the actuator, but broken wires in the harness where all the door wires go from the door edge to the door jamb. The constant opening and closing of the driver door causes them to 'work harden' and snap. It is an easy fix for an auto electrician. They expose the wires and probe them for continuity.

2004 Kia 3.5L. Where is the EGR Valve located and what does it look like please?
As our Fixya Expert points out, all questions need full 'year make model' as the first 3 words in every question, then there are 10,000 categories to choose from listed by 'make year model' and all the variations. Then some type of background, like why are looking for an EGR that doesn't exist. I have said many times "to get good answers, you have to ask good questions".
It is a shame that Anonymous is frustrated and giving up on vehicle questions as he is one of the two best Experts we have. His knowledge is amazing, I know who he is, his writing style is unmistakable. :>)
2006 Kia Rio. My Rio overheated and can't start again.
You would need to replace the radiator, fill with coolant, remove all the air locks, then connect a scan tool and clear all the error codes. If the battery was disconnected you would also have to reset the security and engine immobilizer.
What are the talk torque settings on Kia 2.7 j2 engine cylinder head
I apologize, but I don't have access to specific torque specifications for every engine and vehicle. The torque specifications for the cylinder head bolts on a Kia 2.7L J2 engine may vary depending on the specific model and year of the vehicle. It is crucial to refer to the manufacturer's service manual or consult with a certified Kia mechanic to obtain the correct and up-to-date torque specifications for your particular engine.
The service manual will provide the recommended torque values, as well as the specific sequence for tightening the cylinder head bolts. Following the manufacturer's specifications is important to ensure proper sealing and avoid any damage to the engine components.
Kia optima 2007 head light dim
Check the wiring and socket inside the headlamp. And ONLY USE 55W BULBS! The headlamp bulb sockets are junk on the 07 optima. My 07 tried to light itself on fire....multiple times. Finally ripped the inadequately designed plugs out and replaced them with ceramic sockets I ordered online, 2 sets for like $5 on Amazon. Haven't had an issue since
I don't know what plastic Kia used, but it barely handles the heat from the 55 watt bulbs the manual calls for. There are higher wattage bulbs on the market. Do not use them. They will melt the plug plastic.
How do I reset the Tire Pressure light on my kia Optima 2007
I also have tpms sensor issues on a 07 optima. They are kind finicky, a variance of more than like 2lbs or so across tiers sets the light. It's possible the sensors have low batteries, unfortunately the only way to gain access to the sensors is to take the tiers off the wheel, and even then, I think the electronics are sealed in the sensor unit.
I just keep an eye on my tire pressure and ignore the warning light. All my cars before this one didn't have that feature, so it's no big loss, for me anyways...
