My 2004 tiburon moonroof is
In order to find out what's causing the problem, the headliner must be dropped (removed) to access the sunroof motor so it can be inspected and removed to inspect the slide cables up inside the sunroof/moonroof assy. Until that's done, there's not much more I can do to help except speculate.
Interior sunroof shade is stuck closed
a solution that i had is that if you can open your sunroof without it opening ur shade try that then fold the shade by pushing between or in the middle of it and popout the shade. this works but try not to push to hard or you can break the plastic runners on the side of the shade. check to see if nothing is in the way of the runners. then put back the back part first then slide it all the way to the back then, do the other part and clip them back together
(there might be a little metal piece that pushes your shades back so check that first to see if its there first)
GT. How can I set the timing?
Go to YouTube, and enter "2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT valve timing" in the search box. You will find several videos that deal with changing the timing belt and water pump. Toward the end of each video, when they are reassembling the components, they will show the correct way to set the crankshaft pulley and cam pulleys to properly time the engine.

Unlock the car, get in and close all doors. Turn the ignition key to ACC, press the Unlock button till blinkers flash. That's it. Get out of the car and see if it works.

the only reason they wouldn't is if the car has been misused or used in an aggressive meaner
replacing it your self may void your warranty
Can I use synthetic oil in 06 Tiburon?
Check with the application catalogue of your choice of oil brand and you should find your car listed with the appropriate grade of synthetic oil.
There is a note of caution, especially with an engine that has already covered a fair mileage. Depending on the service history and the type of oil used in the past, the engine could be clean, slightly dirty or very dirty inside and changing to a high detergent oil if the engine is dirty could cause problems. Detergent oils scour the inside and cleans things and holds the dirt in suspension so it gets drained at the next oil change.
The trouble is, there is a limit to how much dirt the oil can hold and if that limit is reached mass dumping can happen - blocking filters and oilways.
It is a while since I encountered an engine that died of a thrombosis and the additive packs of oils have been improving all the time but the point should be considered...
