On an Auto transmission the codes is listed as "1-4 Upshift Skip Shift Lamp Control Circuit Malfunction". This is an issue with the 'Manual' feature next to the "D" on the shifter where you push/pull the lever to skip gears. There is a light that turn on when you move the shifter across to this function.
The light for this can fail or the wiring to it can become faulty. This confuses the electronics as it can't read if your in full auto or the Semi-Auto setting. Get a good auto electrician to look at this as could be something as simple as a blown bulb. They will be able to check for any faults in the wiring to it as well.
Modern cars have parasitic drain from all the computerized control. It requires systematic approach to identify the myriad of potential causes. Eliminate any aftermarket devices which includes any plug in power supplies. After market radios, security, and remote starters are notorious parasitic drains.
How fast does the battery drain to a level that it no longer cranks? You need to verify it's recharging properly. Most auto parts stores do this diagnostic no fee.
If overnight then it's a gross drain. Over a couple days then it's a moderate load. If several weeks, it may be normal.

Question edited for clarity. The code is capital P and zero, not small p and oh (o). Plus toss in some caps and move to model category.
Error code P0128 indicates that your engine coolant temperature is below the thermostat regulating temperature. This means that your Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has recognized that your engine is running cooler than it's supposed to.
Oh dear. It is the correct way around I presume.
If not, put your hand in your pocket and expect an exremely large bill for ECU and other parts that are polarity sensitive.
Maybe the alternator is faulty ...
Did you disconnect the battery recently? And did you reset the anti-theft immobilizer?
Did you check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Does the battery have a full 12.6 volts in it?
Did you check fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail?
An auto electrician and a professional grade scan tool computer can diagnose in 20 minutes.
