My XUV 620i won't start. The battery is good and the starter is working fine. All eight of the fuses under the dash are good. What should I check next?

Try a reboot. Disconnect the ground lead from the battery for 15 seconds, then reconnect and try again.

Testimonial: "Sorry for the delayed response. I got called away to another job. I tried the reboot as you suggested, but it still did not start. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks"

Verify that the computer does not have an internal battery. If it does, do the above procedure after disconnecting the internal battery of the computer. Other things to try: 1) disconnect the plugs from the computer, 2) the computer may have a "reset switch" physically mounted on it, if so, hold that switch down for 15 seconds with car battery connected.

SOURCE: radio not working

It is the fuse inside that yellow fuse holder on the lower left side that is bad. Not the one that says audio that is the problem you can not see the fuse but it is in that yellow holder.

SOURCE: tryed to start truck and it would not crank. i

I'm assuming you have a no-crank condition. check interlock relay and safety interlock. Safety interlock is on shifter if you have automatic. It's on the clutch pedal arm if you have manual. Interlock relay should be in engine compartment relay box. You can bypass both of these and the ignition switch by jumping the solenoid. See troubleshooting procedures here: http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5821173-doesnt_car_start_gasoline_engines
and let me know if you have questions.

SOURCE: 2007 chevy cobalt ls won't

Ignition relay or fuse could be the problem. When you turn the key to start do you hear a fuel pump kicking on and or do you have spark when you hot wire the starter (I know it's hard to check while trying to start it)? You can email me back and I might be able to pinpoint it more.

Older gator 6x4 with Kawasaki FD620D Carburetor overflowing. looking for carb kit for it or a new carb

Sounds like your float is stuck. Pull that carb off and clean it. Berryman's carb cleaner is one that works well. Clean the float needle and check the surface. Use aluminium cleaner/polish like mothers on a cotton swab and clean the float needle seat. It will shine up like new. Check your float height before reassembly. I do these all the time and don't need to but parts.

How do i adjust the throttle position switches on a john deere gator 620i

YOU DONT! Factory specs are need to test and set it!

First off what is the problem you are having????

All the TPS does is switch from one timing curve to the other on the cdi, and is also connected to the fuel management computer to tell it when to increase fuel delivery.

If you are having running problems start with old fuel, fuel pump pressure, and last if you have modified the airbox or exhaust in any way it will run like crap! On fuel injection you have to get a tunable fuel management computer when increasing air-flow or exhaust flow. The fuel injection is set from the factory based on the OEM parameters.

How many hours/ miles on your unit?

Have the valves been adjusted if it has over 200 hours of use?

are there any codes being flashed on display when key is turned to on position but not running?

Won't crank

if battery is good, check to see if you have voltage at solenoid. if you do, turn key to start, that should throw the fire from other side of solenoid to starter. if there is no fire on the other side of solenoid when you turn the key, then your solenoid is most likely bad.
